The VM100 T-bar operated chuck allows one hand tightening along with tremendousgripping power provided by the 6 to 1 ratio of the scroll. Keyed chucks cannot be beaten when it comes to holding power.
The backing plate is indexed for those who do not have an indexing facility on their lathe. The VM100's compact size makes it ideal for use on lathes with capacities of 300mm or smaller.
This chuck is now available in a companion version. You get the chuck body, jaw screws T bar allen keys and insert, this enables you to put another set of jaws on the chuck and leave them on without changing all the time.
