Japanese Handsaws
These saws are used for fine cabinet work, as greater control can be exerted on the blade because of the spine.
This does reduce the depth to which these saws can cut, but this is more than compensated by the fine surface finish left.
The tooth configuration remains identical across the full length of the blade to ensure the smoothness of the cut.
