Preparing for Brisbane Show

Here we go again, the start of the BIG shows, Brisbane Timber and Working with Wood Show 2010

We have to start preparing now as our stock leaves the shop on Wednesday for its travels north to make sure it is there on the following wednesday ready for us to set up our stand.

Brisbane is the first one for the year for May 21-23 at the Show grounds.

Brisbane has a different atmoshphere than most of the others sort of like a big country fair.

As always there will be a great lot to see and also a lot of catching up to do as we would not have seen many of the other exhibitors since the Melbourne wood show.

Brisbane also gives us the chance to meet all of our customers from the far north that generally we only speak on the phone to, so it is a great chance for us to put a face to the voice.

This year we will have Terry Scott and Peter Hewitt from Woodcut tools demonstrating on our stand so this is a great opportunity to see how all the Woodcut tools work, they will be demonstrating on the Vicmarc lathes so again a chance for those in the market to see how these quality lathes work.
